The Education, Audio-Visual, Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in close cooperation with the EU Delegation in Mongolia organized a Cluster meeting in Ulaanbaatar with Mongolian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and organizations involved in 18 projects selected under the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Calls for proposals for Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
Five members (NUM and KNU) of the INTENSE Project attended the event, which took place at National University of Mongolia (from 14:00 to 18:00) the past day 4th December 2019. Local coordinator, Professor Ochir Altansukh and a representative of Khovd National University presented the INTENSE Project within the “Workshop on CBHE: Challenges and conditions for an effective project implementation”.
Marco Ferri, EU Delegation ministry given welcome speeches and most importantly, Ralf Rahders, EACEA representative given a presentation on the CBHE management issues, was including how to write good proposal and how to manage EU project.
Before the cluster meeting, the E-classroom which recently developed under INTENSE project introduced to EU representative.
The main purpose of the CBHE Cluster meeting was to give the Mongolian HEIs a floor to create synergies, encourage contacts and networking activities in order to increase their impact within the CBHE action. At the same time, this event was an excellent opportunity to discuss with all the partners the various aspects related to their participation in the projects whilst making them aware of the challenges and the difficulties on project implementation. Moreover, it gave an opportunity for all the participants to raise any questions that they would like. Representatives of the EU Delegation in Mongolia participated giving the event more visibility at the national level.
